VIT to offer more than 550 summer session classes March 4, 2010 -- SF State's summer session 2010 will offer more than 550 classes through the College of Extended Learning to help students progress towards a degree. More classes may be added depending on demand. "We are offering an expanded summer program to enable students to take courses during the summer that they might not have been able to get in the fall or spring semesters," said Jo Volkert, associate vice president of enrollment management. "This is a great opportunity for students to catch up if they feel like they have fallen behind." Classes will be available in three sessions: June 7 to July 9, June 21 to Aug. 13, and July 12 to Aug. 13. Summer registration time notices will be mailed to eligible students on March 22, with priority registration taking place April 12-16. For a full schedule of summer 2010 classes
